PDS™ II Violet Monofilament Suture, Size 2, 27", CP Needle is a synthetic, absorbable suture composed of polydioxanone. It is designed for extended wound support with controlled absorption, offering consistent performance in soft tissue approximation. The monofilament structure ensures low tissue drag and improved biocompatibility, making it suitable for internal tissue closure where prolonged strength is required.

The smooth monofilament surface facilitates easy passage through tissue and minimizes trauma. The low capillarity reduces fluid and bacterial wicking, supporting a cleaner wound environment. PDS™ II also elicits minimal inflammatory response, reducing the risk of adverse tissue reactions and promoting uniform healing.

The suture is attached to a CP reverse cutting needle, which offers strong penetration through tough or fibrous tissues.
